The beauty of shooting children’s and family portraits is the relationships.
A couple weeks ago I shot Kora’s fourth birthday party. The great thing is that I have been photographing Kora and her family since she was three months old.

Kora wanted a puppy themed party. There was bone-shaped cookies, dog-shaped cupcakes and of course a bunch of puppies. Yes, in LA, you can rent puppies for your party. Kora and her friend’s had a blast.

A Year in the life of Kora
A months ago I custom designed an album using the photos I had taken of Kora over the past year. I first met and photographed Kora in April 2008 a few weeks after my daughter Grace was born. It was fun to see the progression in her life just a few months ahead of Grace. Over the course of the next year I photographed Kora and her parents on three different occasions. The following images are double page spreads from the album I made. I opted to wait to post because in addition to the large album I also had two 6×8 copies printed that were to be given as Father’s Day gifts to the grandpas.
