While in Texas I got a call from a friend that is A&R; at Warner Brothers and is developing a new artist in hopes of getting her a record deal.
It’s typically a challenge to work with new artists. One of the first questions I asked when I met Kristen yesterday was how many photo shoots she’d had. Her answer was none.
We had help from Maxi who did a great job with hair and makeup and helped with wardrobe styling. Additional wardrobe was hooked up by the fellas at Elmer Ave.
Considering it was her first shoot and we pulled this off on a days notice, we came away with some great images.

It’s been a long couple weeks. I started a Nike Job on July 22nd and just finished on Monday. During the middle of the job I took a short trip up to Santa Clara to shoot Blake and Mary’s wedding. I had help from Chris Wolfe and the wedding came off without a hitch.
With this wedding it really sank in that some day (hopefully) I will be walking my daughter down the aisle. Congrats to Jim and Kathy (Mary’s parents). This is wedding two of their four daughters.
