Last weekend we headed up to Los Olivos for Shane and Eileen’s wedding. It was a cool 115°. It was nice to be a guest and not an employee at this wedding. In Typical Shane and Eileen fashion it was a blast. The Fiesta theme helped keep our minds off the temps (not really) and the choreographed dance number set the tone for the evening. When else are you going to get to blindfold your father in law?

Before Grace was born I started another portrait project. Last week I was able to get Penny in to sit for me. I’ve shot a handful of these and have only been satisfied with half of the results. It’s a simple image yet I have to rely so much on the model. Some models got it, most don’t.
